Dance Film Production

A new choreographic short dance film, ba(ME), focuses on experiences of immigrating to the UK and Julie Ann Minaai’s  journey as a minority East Asian professional dance artist in a new country. These storylines are told in tandem, with evocative imagery of internal and external struggle, and the exceptionalism and burden of Julie’s immigrant and minority status.
