Cathy Waller Company proudly presents a specially commissioned exhibition by The1Harris, featuring a series of portraits inspired by the theme that connects the company's new series of works "Us".

 

You & Us explores how the unseen can shape human interaction & how presumption and prejudice force exclusion. Since 2019 Cathy Waller Company has worked with hundreds of people to explore how the invisible plays a role in their lives & how it impacts them daily. The exhibition is one of three new works under the banner of You & Us, set to tour the UK in 2026 and includes a groundbreaking dance film You are also Us and a powerful new dance performance You and Us. 

 

Taking the theme of invisibility into the photography studio, The1Harris has explored experiences of neurodivergence, together with his own, to expose, challenge and unmask identity and perception. 

 

Take your time to wander the exhibition, look into the windows of people's lives and ask yourself how would you present yourself if you were unmasked.
